The waters of Fontsanta have been renowned for centuries for their unique properties. As far back as Roman times, they were prized for their healing benefits, and over the years they attracted travelers, curious visitors, and distinguished figures seeking relief and well-being.

Tradition holds that its discovery was almost accidental, when sick animals found a natural remedy in its waters, giving rise to the spring’s reputation. Over the centuries, the site became a gathering place for pilgrims, leading to the construction of the first lodging facilities and a chapel dedicated to Saint John of Fontsanta.

It was in the 19th century that its properties were studied in depth, leading to the creation of the first spa. Since then, Fontsanta has evolved without losing its essence, becoming a haven where history, nature, and well-being continue to flow in perfect harmony.

The Thermal Vaporarium is presented as a collective artificial grotto with views of an interior courtyard, where steam naturally concentrates as water comes into contact with stone. A warm, humid environment that eases breathing, deeply relaxes, and prepares the body for well-being.

The Finnish sauna, with its dry and intense heat, provides an anti-inflammatory effect, supports toxin elimination, and aids muscle recovery, creating a feeling of lightness and renewal.

Toning area

After the heat, the body awakens. Thermal contrast stimulates circulation, activates natural defenses, and restores energy, creating a feeling of lightness and renewal.

The Ice Fountain allows for gradual cooling after heat exposure, helping strengthen the immune system, stimulate circulation, and release endorphins.

The Bucket Shower, an intense cascade of cold water, delivers an immediate stimulating effect, toning muscles and awakening the senses.

The Sensory Shower combines different water stimuli, creating a toning and relaxing effect that improves peripheral circulation and balances the body.
